Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered under section 307 of the Indian Penal Code and 27 of the Arms Act and 17 C.L.A. Act.
Allegation against the petitioner is that when the activists with intention to loot of police weapon started indiscriminate firing and in exchange police party also started firing the petitioner was present there.
On behalf of the petitioner it is submitted that petitioner is in custody since 11.03.2014 and charge sheet in the case has been submitted. Petitioner has falsely been implicated in the case. There is no direct allegation against him.
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.29394 of 2015 (2) dt.05-08-2015 2/2 On behalf of the State it is submitted that petitioner has got as many as nine criminal cases against him. Considering the aforesaid facts, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. The same is rejected. Any how, it is directed that the trial court shall take all necessary steps to expedite the trial and conclude the same within a period one year from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.
