JUSTICE VINOD KUMAR SINHA ORAL ORDER 28-02-2020 The petitioners seek regular bail in connection with Katihar (Muffasil) P.S. Case No. 219 of 2019, registered for offences punishable under Sections 307, 323 and 341 of the Indian Penal Code.

Allegation as per F.I.R. is that there was altercation between one Ranjeet Das and one Rambabu and Rambabu gave knife blow to said Ranjeet Das and it is also alleged that these petitioners chased him, when he tried to flee away and brutally assaulted him.

It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioners that they have falsely been made accused in this case and only one incised wound was found on the person of the injured. Further

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.5175 of 2020(4) dt.28-02-2020 2/2 they have no criminal antecedent and they have been in custody since 04.12.2019.

Heard learned A.P.P. also.

Having heard both sides, in view of the above facts, let the petitioners above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 25,000 (Rs. Twenty Five Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Katihar, in connection with Katihar (Muffasil) P.S. Case No. 219 of 2019, subject to the condition that petitioners will cooperate in disposal of trial and make themselves available as and when required by the court below, failing which, the prosecution shall move for cancellation of their bail bonds.
