Petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Barachatti P.S. Case No. 133 of 2019 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 8, 15, 18(c) and 25, 20, 22 of the NDPS Act.

Allegation against the petitioner is of cultivating opium on large scale on his agricultural land. It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that he is innocent and has been falsely implicated in this case. Nothing has been recovered from the possession of the petitioner. Petitioner has got no criminal antecedent. Considering the fact that there is allegation against petitioner of cultivating opium on large scale on his agricultural land, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on anticipatory
