2. Earlier also, when the matter was taken up on 30.04.2025, there was no representation on behalf of the petitioners.

3. The matters relates to appointment of the son of the petitioners as Chaukidar in place of the petitioners, who submitted their application for voluntary retirement in view of notification no.1896 dated 05.03.2014.

4. The issue with regard to appointment of Chaukidar came to be settled by the learned Division Bench of this Court in the case of Devmuni Paswan Vs. The State of Bihar & Ors., reported in, 2023 (2) PLJR 425, this Court does not find any merit in the present writ petition.

5. In view thereof, the present writ petition stands dismissed.
