BAJANTHRI) 26-11-2024 Pursuant to our previous order dated 11.11.2024, the competent authority has taken a decision and the same has been placed on record by means of third supplementary affidavit on behalf of the respondent dated 22.11.2024 para 6 reads as under:- "That after examining the report of the three members committee, the Respondent no. - 3 who is the

Patna High Court CWJC No.4066 of 2023(17) dt.26-11-2024 2/2 competent authority being selecting and appointing authority has decided to award 5 marks in Question no-2(B) and 3 marks in Question no-6 of Paper-I so that the petitioner may qualify in the Limited Departmental Competitive Examination (LDCE) from the Postal/Sorting Assistant Cadre to Post Office and Railway Mail Service Accountant Cadre. A letter dated 21.11.2024 is issued by the Assistant Director(Recruitment) in this regard to submit the record before Hon'ble High Court."

2. In the light of this development, the concerned respondent is hereby directed to take further steps in promoting the petitioner from the date his colleagues were promoted and petitioner is not entitle to arrears of pay. However, he is entitle to seniority in the promotional cadre and pay fixation and it should be in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of this order.
