JUSTICE VINOD KUMAR SINHA ORAL ORDER 01-04-2019 This is an application for grant of anticipatory bail in connection with C.A. Case No. 821 of 2017, disclosing offences under Section 498(A) of the Indian Penal Code. Case is under Section 498(A) of the Indian Penal Code and allegation against the petitioner is of subjecting the informant to cruelty with respect to demand.
Submission of learned counsel for the petitioner is that now the matter has been settled and the petitioner is ready to keep her.
Heard learned A.P.P. as well as learned counsel for opposite party no.2, who have also supported the version of the
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.6208 of 2019(3) dt.01-04-2019 2/2 petitioner that the settlement has been made between the parties. Having heard both sides, considering the above submission, this application is allowed. Let the petitioner, above named, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the court below within six weeks, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned A.C.J.M-VI, Katihar, in connection with C.A. Case No. 821 of 2017, subject to the condition laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
