2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Chausa P.S. Case No. 214 of 2023 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 302/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act.

3. As per the F.I.R., the petitioner is the assailant of the deceased.

4. It has been submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that subsequently the informant has resiled from her own statement and has submitted that she has made the petitioner an accused wrongly. He further submits that two other co-accused have been exonerated by the police during investigation. The petitioner is in jail since 28.07.2023.

5. Learned APP appearing for the State opposes the prayer for regular bail of the petitioner.

6. It appears that right from the beginning, the petitioner is tampering with the evidence though he is the main assailant of the deceased. Hence, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

7. Accordingly, the application stands dismissed.
