This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner for a direction upon the respondent Bank to release all retiral benefits and pension/Family Pension accrued in favour of his father and to hold that the father of the petitioner (Late S. M. Razi Naqvi) was deemed Pension Optee, as per Union of India (Employees) Pension,1995.
From the writ petition, it is not clear who are the legal heirs of the Late S. M. Razi Naqvi.
In the aforesaid background, the learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that the legal heirs including the petitioner herein intends to file a detailed representation before the Union
Patna High Court CWJC No.12737 of 2017(5) dt.19-05-2023 2/2 of Bank of India, Central Pension Processing Centre, Human Resources Management Department (Respondent No. 3). If the representation by the legal heirs is/are filed within four weeks from today, the same shall be disposed of by the concerned authority within a period of eight weeks thereafter.
It is made clear that if the concerned respondent where the representation will be filed deems that the same should have been addressed to a different official, it will be his duty to forward the representation before the concerned authority.
The writ petition accordingly stands disposed of with the aforesaid observation.
