JUSTICE ASHUTOSH KUMAR) 13-04-2023 A Division Bench of this Court while hearing a Public Interest Litigation in C.W.J.C. No. 9580 of 2015 had directed vide order dated 05.02.2016 to look into the grievance of the petitioner for providing road in Ward No. 18, under Nagar Parishad, Jamui and do the needful in accordance with law.

Patna High Court MJC No.1889 of 2016(4) dt.13-04-2023 2/2 In compliance with the aforenoted general direction, it has been urged on behalf of the respondents in the show-cause reply that in Ward No. 18, under Project No. 22, a road has been constructed which runs from the house of one Pappu Jailer to the house of oneBadruddin. Along with the P.C.C. road in the aforenoted area, proper drainage facility with cover plates have also been provided. We have no reasons to disbelieve this statement made in the show-cause reply.

There is no appearance on behalf of the petitioner.

We are satisfied that the observations made by the Division Bench in this matter has been complied with. The contempt petition stands disposed of and consigned to the records.
