BAJANTHRI) Date : 16-02-2024 The present M.J.C-Contempt petition is filed for non-compliance of order dated 07.09.2021 passed in C.W.J.C. No. 15393 of 2021.

2. Petitioner was directed to furnish representation within a period of four weeks, thereafter, the concerned authority was required to examine the grievance of the petitioner within a period of three months from the date of filing

In other words official respondents were required to consider the petitioner's representation as on 19.12.2021, whereas the order has been complied on 13.02.2024. They have taken more than two years in complying the orders of this Court. It is to be noted that no application has been made for extension of time in the original order. Therefore, prima facie concerned respondents have committed Contempt.

3. Having regard to the fact that orders of this Court has been complied on 13.02.2024 after hearing the petitioner. Therefore, we proceed to award litigation cost at Rs. 5000/-. Cost shall be paid to the petitioner by the concerned official respondent within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of this order, instead of initiating Contempt of Court proceedings in framing charges.
