ANJANA PRAKASH ORAL ORDER 12-01-2015 Heard learned counsel for the Petitioner and the State. The Petitioner seeks bail in a case instituted for the offence under Sections 302/34 of the Indian Penal Code. Considering that the Petitioner remained absconding for a number of years on which account his case was separated, I am not inclined to grant bail to the Petitioner in connection with Barahiya P.S. Case No. 106 of 1995 pending before the Ad-hoc District and Sessions judge V, Lakhisarai.
The prayer for bail is rejected.
The Trial Court is directed to expedite the Trial for which reason, In the meanwhile, the Trial Court is directed to send a list of the witnesses fixing specific dates for each witnesses for
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.31618 of 2014 (3) dt.12-01-2015 2/2 their examination along with a copy of this order to the Superintendent of Police concerned, who is directed to ensure the attendance of the witnesses on the date fixed by the Trial Court so that there is no further delay in the Trial.
