The petitioner seeks bail in a case under Section 307 and other sections of the Indian Penal Code.

The informant alleged that two women and a woman came inside his house. One man and one woman caught him and the second man assaulted him with Farsa on his head. The informant came to identify them as Prabhunath Rai and his wife Bedami Devi (the petitioner). It is submitted that the occurrence is alleged to have taken place in the night of 11.06.2013 but the FIR was lodged on 19.06.2013, i.e. after one week of the occurrence. Prabhunath Rai has already been enlarged on bail vide order passed in Cr. Misc. No. 52805/2013. The petitioner is the wife of Prabhunath Rai. There is no allegation of assault against the petitioner.
