2. The petitioner has prayed for bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under Sections 8(c), 21(b) and 29 of the NDPS Act.

3. The case of the prosecution is that from possession of this petitioner altogether 12.07 gm of smack was recovered.

4. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner has submitted that the quantity of the seized contraband is more than small quantity but is much less than commercial quantity. The petitioner is having criminal antecedent of one case in which he is on bail and he is in custody since 08.06.2024.

5. The application for bail is opposed by learned APP

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.5557 of 2025(2) dt.28-02-2025 2/2 for the State.

6. Having heard learned counsel for the parties and considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. The above named petitioner is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned court of Additional Sessions Judge-V, Supaul in connection with NDPS Case No. 48 of 2024 arising out of Supaul P.S. Case No.360 of 2024.

7. Accordingly, the present bail application stands allowed.
