2. The petitioner has approached this Court for a direction to the respondent authorities for payment of Rs. 4,00,000/- as ex-gratia payment to the next kith and kin of
Patna High Court CWJC No.1253 of 2019 dt.22-01-2019 2/3 such Anganwari Sevikas who died while in service, on the strength of a resolution issued by the Department of Social Welfare, Govt. of Bihar vide Resolution No. 666 (MU) dated 22.08.2015.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner has stated that the aforesaid resolution has been acted upon and pursuant to such resolution, the details of such deceased Anganwari Sevikas have been sought from various Child Development Project Officers. The petitioner, who is the husband of the deceased Anganwari Sevika, has been running from pillar to post, but to no avail.
4. The averment made in the writ petition is that the Child Development Project Officer, Belhar, Banka has been represented by the petitioner but till date, no order has been passed.
5. In any view of the matter, the petitioner is directed to make a fresh representation before respondent No. 2/the Director, Integrated Child Development Scheme, Bihar, Patna within a period of four weeks from today. On receipt of such representation, speaking order shall be
Patna High Court CWJC No.1253 of 2019 dt.22-01-2019 3/3 passed by the respondent No. 2/the Director, Integrated Child Development Scheme, Bihar, Patna within a period of eight weeks to be counted from the date of filing of the representation.
