The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in a case registered under sections 25(1-B)(a) and 26 of the Arms Act and section 37(c) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

As per allegations in the FIR, a country made pistol and two live cartridges were recovered from the possession of the petitioner who was himself in a drunken state and the same was confirmed on medical examination.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that no incriminating article has been recovered from his possession nor was he in a drunken state. He has been falsely

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the petitioner being in custody for nearly 1 year, the Court directs the petitioner to be enlarged on bail in connection with Town P.S. Case no. 412 of 2020 on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Sessions Judge II-cum-Special Judge, Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, Begusarai.
