The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Section 302 and other sections of the Indian Penal Code.
The daughter of the informant was married to Nasir Khan. The informant alleged that his daughter, Raushni Devi was cut into two pieces and her dead body was disposed of. Petitioner is mother in law of the deceased. The informant has not made any specific allegation against the petitioner. The husband is already in jail. Except the confession of the petitioner, the police did not collect any tangible evidence.
Considering the facts aforesaid and the fact that petitioner is a lady and mother in law of the deceased, the petitioner above named is directed to be enlarged on bail on
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.30234 of 2015 (2) dt.11-08-2015 2/2 furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Bettiah, West Champaran in Lauriya P.S. Case No. 165 of 2014.
