2. This writ application has been filed for a direction to the respondents for payment to the petitioners of their dues which have not been paid to them up-till-now despite several interim orders passed by this Court.

3. At the outset, Mr. Devendra Kumar Sinha, the learned Senior Advocate, on instructions from Mr. Anil Kumar Sinha, the Advocate-on-Record, submits that the amount due to the petitioners has been calculated at Rs. 16,00,000/- and the respondents have sent a letter to the Railway Board seeking sanction of the aforesaid amount.

4. This Court has been made to understand that no sooner the sanctioned amount, referred to above, is received in the Department, that shall be disbursed in favour of the petitioners. The entire process would take

5. This writ application is thus disposed of with a direction to the concerned respondents that whatever amount is due to the petitioners ought to be paid to them within a period of three months, to be counted from today.

6. Any failure on the part of the respondents to do so, would draw an adverse inference.

7. With the aforesaid observation/direction, the writ petition stands disposed of.

8. I.A., if any, also stands disposed of.
