2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Bihar P.S. Case No. 628 of 2022 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 341 and 302/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. The marriage of the petitioner was solemnized with the deceased in the year 2008. The petitioner and other accused persons are said to have killed the deceased for demand of dowry. During investigation, the daughter of the deceased has stated that she was sleeping with her parents and in the midnight, she was woken up by her father and was informed that her mother has committed suicide by hanging. Thereafter,

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.8858 of 2025(3) dt.08-05-2025 2/2 the deceased was taken to hospital and the in-laws were informant. The petitioner is in custody since 31.08.2022.

Learned counsel for the informant has opposed the prayer for bail and has submitted that the trial has started and in the trial, the daughter has deposed and she has said that her mother was killed by all the accused persons including her grand-parents and other accused persons. It appears that the child witness, who is now staying with the family of her mother, is being tutored and she has improved her statement in the trial.

5. Considering the period of custody, this application is allowed.

6. Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional District and Sessions Judge-VII, Nalanda, Biharsharif/concerned Court in connection with Bihar P.S. Case No. 628 of 2022, subject to the condition that the petitioner will co-operate in the trial.
