The petitioner is seeking bail in connection with Bettiah Muffassil (Banuchhapar O.P.) P.S. Case No. 632 of 2015 for offences under Sections 395, 412, 216(A) of the Indian Penal Code.

A dacoity was committed. The name of the petitioner has surfaced during investigation. On his statement, the money as well as the motorcycle, which was used in the offence, was recovered. The petitioner is in jail custody since 22.11.2015. Looking to the nature of offence and the fact that the petitioner has got criminal antecedent of similar nature, this Court

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.21315 of 2016 (2) dt.19-05-2016 is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner, namely, Rajesh @ Rajesh Ram @ Chhotu Ram is rejected. The petitioner is given liberty to renew his prayer for bail after one year of judicial custody.
