2. The present application has been filed for modification of the order dated 20-11-2025 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 35571 of 2025 by which the petitioner was granted anticipatory bail.

3. It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that due to suffering his mother from multiple ailments, he could not surrender within the stipulated time. It is further prayed on behalf of the counsel for the petitioner that further time may be extended so that the petitioner could surrender in the court below.

4. Considering the submissions made on behalf of the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.7287 of 2026(2) dt.06-02-2026 2/2 learned counsel for the petitioner and the grounds mentioned in the modification application, the order dated 20-11-2025 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 35571 of 2025 is modified to the extent that the period of surrender of the petitioner in the court below is extended for a further period of four weeks from today subject to deposit of an amount of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) in District Legal Services Authority.

5. After accepting the bail bonds, the criminal antecedent of the petitioner shall be verified and if, it is found that he is involved in any other case except the present one, the court below shall not accept the bail bonds of the petitioner.

6. Accordingly, this modification application stands disposed of.
