The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Agiaon (G) P. S. Case No. 37 of 2016 registered under Sections 341, 307 and 120-B of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act.

It is contended by learned counsel for the petitioner that the allegations made in the FIR are absurd. Though it is alleged that the petitioner had fired upon the informant of the case and was immediately apprehended by the villagers, no firearm was recovered from his possession. Even the informant of the case has sustained no injury. Learned counsel for the State has opposed the

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.21776 of 2016 (2) dt.20-05-2016 2/2 application for grant of bail. He has submitted that the allegations are serious in nature.

Regard being had to the allegations made in the FIR or the arguments advanced at the Bar, the petitioner above named is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand only) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Bhojpur in Agiaon (G) P.
