Grievance of the petitioner in the present writ application is that the petitioner has not been paid his entire compensation amount for acquisition of the land. Although, he has raised grievance that after coming into force the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition Resettlement Act, 2013 (hereinafter referred to as the Act), the petitioner is entitled to higher rate of compensation but realizing the fact that land was acquired prior to coming into force 2013 Act and petitioner has already received part payment, the petitioner has now confined his prayer for payment of the

Patna High Court CWJC No.245 of 2019(2) dt.04-12-2019 2/2 the balance amount which has not been paid in terms of the compensation fixed by the respondents themselves for acquiring the land of the petitioner.

Considering the aforesaid, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the Collector, Bhagalpur to take appropriate steps for payment of the balance amount of compensation for acquisition of land of the petitioner and ensure payment of the balance amount, if any, within a period of four months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.

With the aforesaid, the present writ application stands disposed of.
