JUSTICE HEMANT KUMAR SRIVASTAVA ORAL ORDER 13-05-2016 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State. Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered under Sections 147, 302, 120(B) and 379 of the Indian Penal Code. Petitioner and eight persons are named in the F.I.R. whereas 5-6 unknown persons have been made accused in the present case. The accusation against the petitioner and other accused is that they pushed the informant into a well as a result of which he died. No overt act has been attributed against the petitioner, who is in jail custody since 12.1.2016. Moreover, coaccused Punjabi Mandal and two others have already been granted privilege of bail by a Co-ordinate Bench of this Court. Accordingly, the petitioner above named is directed
