The petitioner seeks bail in Bettiah Town P.S. Case No. 776/2013, registered for the offences punishable under Section 307 and other Sections of the Indian Penal Code and 27 of the Arms Act.

The informant Ramji Rai lodged the case against Samir Ansari and alleged that two miscreants came in his chamber and fired. The petitioner is not named in the FIR. Name of the petitioner figured in the case in the confessional statement of coaccused Aman Srivastava. Similarly situated co-accused Md. Sabir @ Pandit @ Sk. Sabir Mian @ Pandit and Md. Changej have already been enlarged on bail.

Considering the facts aforesaid, the petitioner above

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.31845 of 2015 (2) dt.18-08-2015 2/2 named is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Bettiah, West Champaran, in connection with Bettiah Town P.S. Case No. 776/2013.
