Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered under section 4/ 6 of the POCSO Act.

Petitioner is in jail custody since 5.4.2016 on the accusation that he made attempt to outrage modesty of the informant who was only 16 years of age at the time of alleged occurrence. Submission on behalf of the petitioner is that informant lodged this case under misconception and subsequently, she filed compromise petition and moreover, petitioner has sufficiently been punished by remaining in jail custody for such a long period. Considering this aspect of the matter that the petitioner and the informant are neighbour and the informant has settled dispute outside the court, let the petitioner be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs 10,000/- with two sureties of the like amount each to
