1. The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief(s):- "1. That this application is for issuance of appropriate writ/writs by commanding the Respondents to make payment of MACP with all consequential benefit in light of Letter bearing Office Order No.-26 dt.-31.07.2023 (Annexure-P4) issued by Respondent no.-3, alternatively as per entitlement of MACP to Petitioner by further enhancement of Monthly Pension and Gratuity with interest including Arrear of Salary and Pension, in the interest of

Patna High Court CWJC No.2792 of 2024(2) dt.07-03-2024 2/2 justice."

2. At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to approach the Chief Engineer, Road Construction Department, Patna, i.e. the respondent no.2, for redressal of his aforesaid grievances. Liberty so sought is granted.

3. It is needless to state that in case appropriate petition is filed, by the petitioner, before the Chief Engineer, Road Construction Department, Patna, i.e. the respondent no.2, within a period of two weeks from today, the same shall be considered, in accordance with law and a reasoned and a speaking order shall be passed, thereon, within a period of six weeks, thereafter.

4. The present writ petition stands disposed off on the aforesaid terms.
