The petitioner seeks bail in Kateya P.S. Case No. 87 of 2016 instituted for the offences under Sections 341, 323, 325, 506, 302/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The earlier bail application of the petitioner was rejected vide Annexure-1 to the present application taking into account that the fatal injury is said to have been caused by the petitioner.

A report was called for from the Court below regarding the stage of the case. It has been reported that six prosecution witnesses have already been examined and the trial is expected to be concluded within a period of three months. Considering the nature of accusation and the stage of
