JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 18-04-2024 The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief:- "1. That this is an application for issuance of an appropriate writ order or direction to the respondents to admit the petitioner as Bihar Home Guard in Katihar District as the petitioner has applied against Advt. No.02/2011 from Manshahi Block District Katihar and had passed all the Physical test taken in November-December 2023 and also has passed the physical measurement and medical test and his name was mentioned in the result published on 30/11/2023 however in the final result published on 23/12/2023 his name has not been mentioned and he has not
Patna High Court CWJC No.5175 of 2024(2) dt.18-04-2024 2/2 been selected/recommended for admission despite several vacancy/seats still existing which is highly illegal and also for a direction to the respondents to fill all the seats remaining vacant of Katihar District from the successfully candidates of above Advt by making a district level merit list for filling the remaining vacant seat or for any other order or orders which this Hon'ble court may deem fit and proper under the circumstances of this case."

After some arguments, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to approach the respondent no. 3 i.e. the D.G. of Bihar Home Guards, Bihar, Patna for redressal of his aforesaid grievances. Liberty, so sought, is granted.

The present writ petition stands disposed off as not pressed.
