1. The petitioner has prayed as under:

"(I) That this is an application for issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari to quash the order dated 06-032012 passed by the Inspector General, Frontier Headquarters, SSB, Patna, by which the claim of the petitioner has been rejected in light of the decision of the

Patna High Court CWJC No.20410 of 2013(2) dt.23-01-2023 2/3 medical board dated 15.10.11 passed in the review medical examination of the petitioner whereby the petitioner has been declared as unfit, in pursuance of an order dated 15.06.11, passed in the final stage of the selection process. And further, for issuance of a consequential writ in the nature of mandamus commanding and directing the respondents to take a review medical examination of the petitioner by a duly constituted medical board in the light of the prevalent criteria for selection at the time of advertisement for the concerned post and in view of his medical report given by the concerned doctor of The Patna Medical College and Hospital (P.M.C.H.), Patna.

And/ or for issuance of any other writ/writs, order/orders, direction/directions, which may seem just and equitable in the facts and circumstances stated hereunder."

2. Keeping in view that the selection was completed in 2011, the writ petition was filed in and he was declared medically unfit on 15.06.11 and he preferred a writ petition in 2013, which had remained pending till 2023. No further direction can now be issued.

3. By efflux of time, the writ petition has become infructuous .
