In this case, the petitioner is seeking anticipatory bail in connection with Raniganj P.S. Case No. 220 of 2018, registered for the offence under Sections 341, 323, 420, 498(A), 506 and 504/34 of the Indian Penal Code and under Section 3/4 of the D.P. Act.

Allegation has been made that the accused persons used to torture the informant for dowry.

The petitioner is cousin brother-in-law of the informant.

Considering the aforesaid fact, let the petitioner, namely, Dipak Mandal @ Dipak Kumar Mandal, be released on anticipatory bail in the event of his arrest or surrender before the

No.3463 of 2019(2) dt.25-01-2019 2/2 learned Court below within a period of six weeks from today, on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand Only) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Araria, in connection with Raniganj P.S. Case no. 220 of 2018, subject to the condition as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
