1. The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief(s):- "1. That this is an application for issuance of an appropriate writ order or direction to the respondents to admit the petitioner as Bihar Home Guard in Katihar District as the petitioner has applied against Advt. No.02/2011 from Barari Block District Katihar and had passed all the Physical test taken in NovemberDecember 2023 and also has passed the physical measurement and medical test and his name was mentioned in the result published on 27/11/2023 and also in the final merit list published vide memo No. 2026 dated 21/12/23 however thereafter his name has been removed

Patna High Court CWJC No.3818 of 2024(2) dt.22-03-2024 2/2 by making amendment and he has not been selected/recommended for admission despite several vacancy/seats still existing which is highly illegal and also for a direction to the respondents to fill all the seats remaining vacant of Katihar District of the above Advt from the successful candidates of above Advt by making a district level merit list for filling the remaining vacant seat or for any other order or orders which this Hon'ble court may deem fit and proper under the circumstances of this case."

2. At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to approach the respondentauthorities for redressal of his subsisting grievances, if any. Liberty so sought is granted.

3. The present writ petition stands disposed off as not pressed.
