ANJANA PRAKASH ORAL ORDER 12-08-2015 Heard learned counsel for the Petitioner and the State. The Petitioner seeks bail in a case instituted for the offence under Sections 385 and 387 of the Indian Penal Code. Considering that the Petitioner has been named in the confessional statement of the co-accused as one of the person who was demanded rangdari and he has criminal antecedent, I am not inclined to grant him bail.
The prayer for bail is rejected.
The Trial Court is directed to expedite the trial since it is a very serious matter.
