This writ petition has been filed for the following reliefs:- "(i) That an appropriate writ may be issued commanding upon the Respondent No. 7, the District Fisheries Officer to accept the revenue for the settlement year 2017-18 started from 1.7.2017 from the petitioners who have been authorized by the Managing Committee and to issue Parwana in favour of the society immediately without any delay.
Patna High Court CWJC No.12566 of 2017(2) dt.02-09-2025 2/2 (ii) That an appropriate writ may be issued commanding upon the respondent authorities not to take any coercive step against the society for non payment of revenue during the pendency of the instant writ application;
(iii) Any other relief оr reliefs be granted to the petitioner as he is legally entitled in the facts and circumstances of the case."
3. Mrs. Nutan Sahay, learned counsel for the State, submits that the matter was for the year 2017-18 and has now become infructuous. She, with the help of counter affidavit, submits that bona fide settlees of the Jalkars were restrained from fishing from the respective Jalkars and actually there is dispute between the parties in the Bairiya Prakhand Matshyajivi Sahyog Samiti.
4. Be that as it may, since there is no appearance on behalf of the petitioners, the writ application stands dismissed for non-prosecution.
