2. The learned counsel for the petitioner has stated that he served as Constable in the Police Department and retired in the year 2017 from Saharsa District Police. He has been paid his 2nd ACP and his name has been recommended by the Superintendent of Police, Saharsa for payment of 3rd ACP to him. The grievance of the petitioner continues because of no intimation to him about any decision in that regard.

In the aforesaid circumstances, this Court directs the petitioner to make a representation before the Deputy Inspector General of Police, Koshi Range, Saharsa (respondent No. 3), detailing his grievances, within a period of four weeks from today. On receipt of such representation, the Deputy Inspector General of Police, Koshi Range, Saharsa (respondent No. 3), after verifying the facts as well as the correctness of the claim of the petitioner, shall pass an order disposing of such representation within a further period of four weeks thereafter.
