The petitioner seeks bail in anticipation of his arrest in connection with Islampur P.S. Case No. 56 of 2020 dated 29.01.2020 instituted for the offences under Sections 341, 323, 307 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.
The petitioner and three others are said to have assaulted the informant/victim over a game of Cricket. The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that both sides had fought during the game but there was no intention to cause any bodily injury to the victim which could have led to any disastrous results. If at all the accusation is to be believed, the fight was spontaneous and without any premeditation of mind.

Taking into account that the petitioner is a student of B.A. final year and that an assault took place while playing a game of Cricket, the petitioner is directed to be released on bail, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order, on his furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Hilsa, Nalanda in connection with Islampur P.S. Case No. 56 of 2020, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C. (Ashutosh Kumar, J) krishna/- U T
