The petitioner seeks bail in Alamganj P.S. Case No. 429 of 2021, registered for the offence punishable under Sections 376, 498A and other allied sections of the Indian Penal Code and section 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act. As per the prosecution case, informant got married with co-accused Ajay Kumar Yadav on 15.06.2019. It is alleged that after marriage all the accused persons including this petitioner started torturing her for dowry. It is further alleged that on 18.07.2021 this petitioner who is brother-in-law (Nandoi) of the informant made an attempt to have physical relation with her.

It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that thrust of accusation is against husband of informant Ajay Kumar Yadav.

Petitioner is resident of Digha and he is separate in mess and property. Petitioner claims clean antecedent and he is in custody since 18.09.2021. Investigation is complete.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioner above-named, is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Patna City, Patna in connection with Alamganj P.S.
