The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Special Case No.35 of 2015 arising out of Mahila P.S. Case No.43 of 2015 registered under Section 376(2)(i) of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 3, 4 and 6 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012.

Regard being had to the allegation that the petitioner bodily lifted the informant, a minor girl aged about ten years, and ravished her, I am not inclined to grant him bail even though he is in custody since 10th July, 2015.

Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.
