1. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the appeal filed by the petitioner is pending consideration before the Additional Chief Secretary-cum-Principal Secretary, Department of Water Resources (Minor), Government of Bihar, Patna, since the month of June, 2020, hence the same be directed to be disposed off, in accordance with law.

2. The learned counsel for the respondent-State submits that in case the aforesaid appeal, filed by the petitioner is still pending, the same shall definitely be disposed off, within a stipulated time frame as is fixed by this Court.

3. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, I deem it fit and proper to direct the Additional Chief Secretary-cum-Principal Secretary, Department of Water Resources (Minor), Government of Bihar, Patna, to dispose off the aforesaid appeal, filed by the petitioner, in case the same has been filed and is still pending, by passing a reasoned and a speaking order, in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks of receipt/production of a copy of this order.

4. The writ petition stands disposed off on the aforesaid terms.
