1. The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief(s):- "(i). For issuance of writ in the nature of Mandamus to properly enquire the schemes of MGNREGA in the Nardiganj Block through an independent agency. (ii). For direction to the respondent authorities to take a decision on the representation filed by the petitioner on 23.05.2022."

2. At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks

Patna High Court CWJC No.2099 of 2023(2) dt.26-09-2023 2/2 liberty on behalf of the petitioner to avail such other alternative remedies as are otherwise available under the law, for redressal of the aforesaid grievances. Liberty so sought is granted.
