The petitioner seeks bail in Rajepur P. S. Case No. 67 of 2018 instituted for the offence under Section 387 of the Indian Penal Code.

In the written report, it is alleged that informant received ransom call on his mobile phone from mobile number as mentioned in the written report.

Learned counsel for petitioner submits that petitioner is not named in the written report. The mobile number which is mentioned in the written report from which ransom call was made does not belong to this petitioner. Police has arrested the petitioner merely on suspicion and remanded in this case. Thereafter police has recorded his confessional statement.

Considering the aforesaid, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/-(Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the SDJM Sadar, Motihari, East Champaran, in connection with Rajepur P. S. Case No. 67 of 2018 subject to the condition that both the bailors shall be the close relative of the petitioner.
