The petitioner seeks bail in a case under Sections 461 and 279 of the Indian Penal Code.
An F.I.R. was lodged against unknown for committing theft in the mobile shop of the informant. The petitioner was apprehended while he was trying to sell six mobile phones. Thereafter, the police recorded the confessional statement of the petitioner. It is submitted that the informant has nowhere mentioned about the details and MEI numbers of the stolen mobiles. The recovered mobiles do no tally with the stolen mobiles. The petitioner is in jail since 03.04.2015. The petitioner has already remained in jail for four months and he has got no criminal antecedent.
Considering the facts aforesaid, the above named
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.29890 of 2015 (2) dt.11-08-2015 2/2 petitioner is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Smt.
