The petitioner is in custody in connection with Banka P.S. Case No. 549 of 2018, registered for the offence punishable under Sections 420, 467, 468 of the Indian Penal code. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has no criminal antecedent. Referring to the prosecution story, he submits that petitioner was selected for the post of constable as per Advertisement No. 1 of 2017. During verification, it transpires that petitioner has committed forgery to obtain appointment as LTI of the petitioner did not match with earlier thumb impression.

Considering the fact that petitioner has no criminal antecedent and he is in custody since 14.8.2018, let the

No.3353 of 2019(3) dt.24-01-2019 2/2 petitioner named above is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Banak in connection with Banka P.S. Case No. 549 of 2018.
