JUSTICE ASHUTOSH KUMAR) Date : 24-11-2022 Mr. Vijay Anand, the learned Advocate for the petitioner, after some arguments, seeks permission to withdraw this petition in order to enable the petitioner to prefer an appeal against the order of cancellation of the license before an appellate authority.

2. The learned counsel for the State however points out that seven years have passed since the passing of the order of the cancellation of the license of the petitioner.

In case, the petitioner prefers an appeal before the appellate authority within a period of thirty days, the appellate authority shall consider whether such appeal should be taken up after such a long lapse of time and if it is taken up after condoning the delay, it must be disposed off within a further period of sixty days, giving reasons in support of the same.

4. Dismissed as withdrawn with the aforesaid observation.
