The present writ application is being filed for grant of following reliefs: - "(i) For directing the respondent Superintendent of Police, Khagaria to direct the Officer-in-Charge, Alauli PoliceStation, Khagaria to get the First Information Report given by the petitioners about the commission of the cognizable offence registered as the Officer-in-charge, Alauli P.S. for
Patna High Court CR. WJC No.210 of 2025(2) dt.22-04-2025 2/2 extraneous reasons did not get the F.I.R.
registered.
(ii) For directing the respondents to enforce the law and maintain the law and order as the private respondents, who have committed grievous offence now threatening the petitioners for the dire consequences and for any other relief or reliefs petitioners are found entitled to in the facts and circumstances of the case."
3. The prayer of the learned counsel for the petitioners is that the police is not registering the F.I.R. of the petitioners and therefore, he seeks a direction from this Court to direct the authorities concerned to register the F.I.R. of the petitioners.
4. In the opinion of this Court, the petitioners have an alternative remedy of approaching the concerned Court below under Section 156(3) of the Cr.P.C. for registration of an FIR or to file a complaint case therein.
5. Accordingly, this application is disposed of with liberty to the petitioners to avail the aforesaid remedies (Sandeep Kumar, J) Shishir/- U T
