Mr. Alok Kumar Chaudhary, learned counsel for the petitioner informs that the issue of illegal transportation of cattle
Patna High Court CWJC No.1106 of 2019(7) dt.30-07-2019 2/2 into the neighbouring countries as well as the issue of stray animals including the canines are being monitored by the Supreme Court in different separate matters.
In such view of the matter, we do not deem it proper to hold a parallel proceeding for whatever material that may be in possession of the petitioner in respect of the issue of illegal transportation of cattle etc. to the neighbouring countries as well as the issue of stray animals roaming around the capital city and other districts of the State can be brought to the notice of the Hon'ble Supreme Court in the course of the proceeding pending before the Apex Court.
Our observation above, however, would not preclude the authorities in the Urban Development Department, the Patna Municipal Corporation as well as the urban bodies in the State, to take corrective measures on the issues noted for it only improves the civic conditions within the State.
With the observations above, we dispose of the writ petition.
