ABHISHEK REDDY ORAL ORDER 18-12-2023 Learned counsel for the petitioner has stated that pursuant to the directions of this Hon'ble court, the authorities have revised the electricity bill. That as per the revised rule, the petitioner is liable to pay an amount of Rs. 68,853.31/-. Learned counsel has sought a direction from this Hon'ble Court to grant him the liberty of paying the same in equal installments.

2. Per contra, learned counsel appearing on behalf of

Patna High Court CWJC No.2011 of 2023(14) dt.18-12-2023 2/3 the respondents has stated that initial bill was for an amount of approximately Rs. 9,00,000/- and the same was revised to Rs. 68,853.31/- pursuant to the order of this Hon'ble Court passed in C.W.J.C. No. 10198 of 2013 dated 14.08.2015.

3. Learned counsel has stated that in case the petitioner makes the above payment, the respondents will restore the electricity supply.

4. Learned counsel for the respondents has stated that in case the petitioner wants to pay the above said amount in installments, he may make a suitable representation to the Executive Engineer (Respondent No. 4) herein and the same shall be considered on its own merits.

5. Having regard to the same above made submissions without going into the merits or demerits of the case, the present C.W.J.C. is disposed off with a direction to the petitioner to make a representation to the Respondent No. 4 seeking payment of the above mentioned amount in installments. The said representation shall be made within a period of four weeks from today. On receipt of the said representation from the petitioner, the authority concerned shall consider the same and pass necessary orders in accordance with law within a period of four weeks thereof.
