The petitioner being the husband of the informant is languishing in jail since 24.2.2016 in a case registered for the offence punishable under sections 498A, 341, 323, 504/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The accusation against the petitioner is of torture for nonfulfillment of dowry demands. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the accusation of demand of dowry appears to be false. It is also submitted that the petitioner is ready to keep the informant as wife with full dignity and honour. The investigation has already concluded.

Considering the aforesaid facts, let the petitioner,

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.22161 of 2016 (3) dt.20-06-2016 abovenamed, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Katihar in Abadpur P.S.Case No. 15/2016.
