In this case, the petitioner is seeking regular bail in connection with Sessions Trial No. 872 of 2014, arising out of Patrakar Nagar P.S. Case No.206 of 2013, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 420, 465, 466, 467, 468, 471, 474, 120(B)/34, 124(A), 473, 255, 256, 257, 475, 258, 259 and 260 of the Indian Penal Code.

It is a case related to running of a printing press and creating forged and fabricated judicial and non-judicial stamps and the same are being used not only in the State of Bihar but are also being supplied to the adjoining States, such as West Bengal. On receiving instructions, the Police Party raided the premises from

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.24223 of 2016 (2) dt.02-06-2016 2/3 where a large number of persons have been arrested. The main accused is said to be Ranjit Kumar, who has organized the crime. The petitioner is one of the persons involved in that scam. Counsel for the petitioner submits that he is in jail since 06.11.2013 i.e. for about 2 years and 7 months and there is no likelihood that the trial would be completed in near future. Out of 9 accused persons 7 have been granted bail by this Court, which are as follows:- i) Ashok Kumar in Cr. Misc. No. 18453 of 2014 dated 18.12.2014;

ii) Binay Pandit in Cr. Misc. No. 11856 of 2014 dated 18.12.2014;

iii) Mukesh Kumar @ Lallu in Cr. Misc. No. 11919 of 2014 dated 18.12.2014;

iv) Mritunjay Kumar in Cr. Misc. No. 24098 of 2014 dated 02.03.2015;

v) Jitendra Mishra in Cr. Misc. No. 2276 of 2015 dated 04.05.2016;

vi) Ranjeet Kumar in Cr. Misc. No. 12179 of 2015 dated 26.05.2015;

vii) Shyam Sundar @ Shyam Kumar in Cr. Misc. No. 34643 of 2015 dated 11.05.2016;

No.24223 of 2016 (2) dt.02-06-2016 3/3 Having considered the facts and circumstances of the case, let the above-named petitioner be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Sessions Judge-XIth, Patna, in connection Sessions Trial No. 872 of 2014, arising out of Patrakar Nagar P.S. Case No.206 of 2013, subject to the conditions that:- (i) one of the bailors will be a close relative of the petitioner;

(ii) if the petitioner is found involved in similar type of case in future, the prosecution will be at liberty to make prayer for cancellation of his bail and the Court below will pass necessary order, including cancellation of bail and;

(iii) that the petitioner would participate in the court proceeding and in the event of being absent on two consecutive dates without reasonable explanation, the court below will be at liberty to cancel the bail bonds of the petitioner.
