The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Nawada P.S. Case No. 861 of 2018 for the offences punishable under Sections 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act. The allegation is regarding recovery of 271.35 ml of illicit liquor from a car which was being driven by the petitioner. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the present case. It is further submitted that the petitioner is having a clean antecedent and is languishing in custody since 24.11.2018. It is stated that the petitioner is a driver of the vehicle and has got no concern with the illicit liquor, which was recovered and seized from the car.
