The present modification application has been filed seeking modification of the order dated 23.12.2022 in Cr. Misc. No.71761 of 2022.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was granted bail by the order dated 23.12.2022 in Cr. Misc. No.71761 of 2022, but in the cause title, on account of typographical error made in the original anticipatory bail application, the said error crept in the order also as the District of the petitioner was recorded as Nalanda instead of Nawada. The learned counsel for the petitioner thus submits

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.7240 of 2023(2) dt.08-02-2023 2/2 that the cause title describing the petitioner in the order dated 23.12.2022 in Cr. Misc. No.71761 of 2022 be modified to read as Kanhaiya Singh @ Kanhaiya Kumar @ Shankar Kumar, son of Brijnandan Singh, Resident Of Village-Apsarh, P.S.- Warsaliganj, District-Nawada instead of Kanhiya Singh @ Kanhaiya Kumar @ Shankar Kumar, son of Brijnandan Singh, Resident of Village-Apsarh, P.S.-Warsaliganj, District-Nalanda. In view of the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the order dated 23.12.2022 in Cr. Misc. No.71761 of 2022 is modified to the extent as indicated above.

However, in the event, if petitioner surrenders before the Court below on or before 22.02.2023, his bail bond shall be accepted.
